    Brief

    Hiring teams need access to rich information about an applicant to effectively review them for a position.

    However, job applications are packed with identifying information about the applicant's demographic, and this problem is amplified when design portfolios need review.

    Existing products in the market will happily process cover letters and a CV to obfuscate demographic information, but they fall short of preparing their work for fair appraisal.

    Applicants from many different job boards are directed to a central airtable form.

    This form is repurposed with hidden fields and prefilled values to send tracking data, for example, the job board this application came from, or the person who referred them.

    This hidden data is collected and used to measure the performance of each job board on a monthly basis.

    The anonymiser assigns this application to themselves, and records any evident demographic information that inform our statistical analysis later on in the process.

    The anonymiser processes each of the key elements of the application and removes all identifying information.

    Once the application is anonymised, its status is set to "Revealed", passing it onto the Review team.
